Step One: Mapping and Numbing
The first step of your treatment will be mapping the areas of your face where the thread sutures will be placed beneath the skin. The mapping is done based on your consultation to achieve the desired results. Although this is a minimally invasive treatment, we still administer a local anesthetic, usually lidocaine, to the area of treatment to ensure your comfort while the sutures are being placed.
Step Two: Thread and Massage
A needle is used to insert the microcone thread sutures beneath the skin’s surface. Threads are placed parallel to the skin surface and are gently pulled upward until the skin is taut. After the thread is anchored, the insertion sites will be gently massaged to ensure the microcones are fully embedded in the subdermal layers of the skin.
What Are Your Post-Care Instructions?
