The MD Brothers are Drs. Nael Gharbi and Shazel Gharbi. They are the founders and Medical Directors for Old Town MedSpa, Old Town MedSpa at Lincoln Park and MD Brothers for Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine.
Both Drs. Nael Gharbi and Shazel Gharbi are among the top cosmetic surgeons in Chicago.
They are very passionate about the work they do, and their utmost goal is to provide the best results for their patients. Both of the MD Brothers are Board certified in Aesthetic Medicine, endorsed by A4M – The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, Members of The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Members of The American Society of Liposuction Surgery, and Board certified in Internal Medicine.
They have been practicing medicine and providing the best medical care for more than 10 years. Additionally, they have been providing the best Aesthetic and Cosmetic services since 2015 for thousands of aesthetic patients. They are committed to providing the best results in Full Face and Body Contouring using Invasive and Non-Invasive Advanced Technology which includes: liposuction, Brazilian butt lift, face and neck lift, botulinum Toxin, all types of fillers, PDO threads, multiple types of lasers, and advanced skin care treatments.
Both Drs. Nael Gharbi and Shazel Gharbi completed medical school at the University of Damascus School of Medicine in 2006 and finished residency at St Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL. They completed advanced training in laser/light and radio frequency technologies as well as BOTOX and filler training with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the International Association of Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine. They also completed advanced training for local anesthesia liposuction with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Dr. Sabau completed her medical school studies in Timisoara, Romania and relocated to the United States shortly thereafter and finished her residency training at St. Francis hospital in Evanston, IL. She continues to work as an Internal Medicine Hospitalist and has recently joined Old Town Med Spa providing esthetic services with extensive training from both Dr. Nael and Shazel Gharbi.

Sabina is a great addition to our passionate team, Sabina is a results-driven Licensed Esthetician and Certified Laser Technician with 10 years of helping people bring their aesthetic vision to reality. She is highly proficient with numerous forms of skin revitalization from such advanced laser techniques including IPL and light therapy. Her expertise also spans across various kinds of anti-aging rejuvenation including customized facials, HydraFacial, refreshing peels, Advanced Chemical Peels, microdermabrasion, Ultherapy, Trusculpt 3 D, Exillis, Vanquish, Micro-needling RF, micro-needling, laser genesis and Cool-Sculpting.

Marissa Paradiso
Aesthetician & Skin Specialist
Marissa is a licensed aesthetician with advanced laser and body contouring training. Marissa knows how to make patients look and feel their best through aesthetic treatments, like Hydra-facials, body contouring, laser services, and more.

Yasmeen Salazar
Office Manager
Yasmeen is the office manager at Old Town Med Spa at our locations in Old Town, Lincoln Park, and Bucktown. She has been with our team since September 2019 and is a valued member of our team by the staff and our patients.
Yasmeen has several years of experience as a medical assistant and often assists the Gharbi doctors with some of their treatments, when necessary. One of her favorite treatments is the Scarlet RF micro-needling treatment with PRP because of the amazing results.
With a big, loving family in her hometown of Chicago, Yasmeen enjoys spending her time outside of the office with her two young kids, Brianna and Isaac.
Camryn Winterland
Marketing Associate
Camryn is our Marketing Associate at Old Town Med Spa. Her role includes Social Media Management, Graphic design, and more. You may see Camryn at the Lincoln Park front desk working on Marketing projects and helping out the front desk as needed! Cam is an incredible addition to our Old Town Med Spa team and we’re lucky to have her.
Lindsay Platt
Administrative Team
Lindsay has been a vital member of our administrative front desk team since 2022. You can usually find Lindsay at the desk of our Lincoln Park office helping patients schedule appointments, answer questions, and having friendly conversation.
Lindsay has several years of administrative experience and helps to keep everything running smoothly at Old Town Med Spa. Because Lindsay is a licensed aesthetician as well, she has incredible knowledge and insight about all of our treatments and facilitates our patients’ Old Town Med Spa experience.
Lindsay is a fundamental part of our team because of her great relationship with all of our patients and staff. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys dancing, listening to new music, and spending the weekend with her beloved, young nephews. If you have any music recommendations, Lindsay is a listening ear!
Lina Gonzalez
Administrative Team
Lina is another welcoming face of Old Town Med Spa as a special part of our administrative front desk team. Lina can usually be found at our Bucktown location, called MD Brothers. At our surgical location in Bucktown, Lina assists with surgeries and surgical inventory, as well.
Lina has several years of administrative and hospitality experience, which makes her a great asset to our Old Town Med Spa team.
Although Lina is originally from Miami, she now loves living in Chicago. In her free time, Lina enjoys to spend time outside on long walks to move her body and get fresh air.
Crystal Camacho
Administrative Team
Crystal is another important part of our administrative front desk team. Crystal is known for her bubbly, energetic personality and friendliness to all of our patients and staff members. Crystal’s role is to provide excellent customer service and build quality relationships with our patients through assisting them with scheduling appointments and answering any questions they may have.
Because Crystal is bilingual in Spanish, this allows Old Town Med Spa to be a welcoming and inclusive environment for our spanish-speaking patients. In her free time, Crystal enjoys spending time with her dog, Milo, or going out socializing with her friends
