During the procedure, your provider uses the Avéli device to locate the septa bands causing targeted cellulite dimples. The device allows the provider to release those specific bands and confirm in real time that the planned dimples have been treated.

What to Expect from Avéli Recovery

Recovery after Avéli is usually manageable, but patients should be prepared for temporary bruising, tenderness, and swelling. Some mild pain may occur during the first 24 hours.

Clear or pink fluid may drain from the treatment area during the first 24 to 48 hours. Your provider may also recommend wearing a non-medical compression garment, such as compression leggings or Spanx, for the first few days to a week to help reduce swelling and bruising.
